School districts and organizations whose students will receive fresh produce coupons are in Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

With the addition of the Columbia Falls store in Montana, Dollar General now serves all 48 continental U.S. states.

The $1.7 million donation is aimed at increasing access to quality education for underserved youth.

Dollar General’s same-store sales decreased .1% in the second quarter, with declines in the home, seasonal and apparel categories.

The facility is expected to create more than 400 new career opportunities and support more than 1,000 DG stores at full capacity.

The winning artist will receive a tuition scholarship and their design featured on Schick Intuition packaging.

The grant is part of the DGLF’s 30th-anniversary celebration in 2023 and will extend the Imagination Library’s work to provide free books to children from birth to age five.
