Garnier’s hair care offerings go green
In 2021, several Garnier hair care brands are going greener.
The beauty brand expanded upon its previously launched World of Greener Beauty by unveiling several new innovations coming down the pipeline with several of its brands.
First up, let’s start with the world of hair care and the Garnier Fructis family. New to the line’s Sleek & Shine collection, which looks to keep hair smooth, shiny and control frizz, are two launches:
- The Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum, available in new packaging, looks to sleek frizzy, dry and unmanageable hair thanks to its infusion of argan oil and apricot kernel oil; and
- The Sleek & Shine Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-In Conditioner, which when used together, aim to keep hair sleek for up to three days straight.
Consumers will be able to find the Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum on retail shelves beginning in Jan. 2021.
The Sulfate-Free Remedy collection has an extensive collection of shampoo and conditioners hitting shelves, including:
- Sulfate-Free Remedy Honey Treasures, which looks to provide users with 72-hour damage protection. Featuring a blend of floral extracts, beeswax, and sustainably sourced acacia honey, its formula is sulfate-free and aims to also protect against breakage and damage caused by heat and styling;
- Sulfate-Free Remedy Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter, which aims to provide 72-hour frizz control. Containing a blend of coconut oil and sustainably sourced cocoa butter, it looks to smooth and control frizz and flyaways while also protecting hair against the damaging effects of heat and styling; and
- Sulfate-Free Remedy Royal Hibiscus and Shea Butter, which looks to provide 72-hour curl definition. Featuring a blend of hibiscus flower and sustainably sourced shea butter, the product aims to moisturize and define curls, while also fighting against dryness and shapelessness.
