Hum Nutrition is debuting a brand-new supplement that has been formulated to help expecting mothers meet the nutrition needs of every stage of the pregnancy journey.
Womb Service is a prenatal multivitamin that contains clean, gentle and easily absorbable nutrients that support the mother and baby’s needs from pre- to post-pregnancy, the Los Angeles-based company said.

Featuring a two-step formula that includes a prenatal multivitamin capsule and vegan DHA softgel that does not have a fishy aftertaste, the supplements provide 23 nutrients such as choline and folate at OB-GYN recommended levels.
“Two of the most important supplements to look for in your prenatal vitamins are folic acid and iron,” said Manuela Vasquez, a board-certified OB-GYN and founder of LaMaria feminine wellness. “Folic acid helps to prevent birth defects associated with the neural tube. The physiological changes that occur in pregnancy can make pregnant women more prone to anemia, therefore having iron in your prenatal vitamin can help maintain the appropriate blood levels.”

Additional key ingredients found in Womb Service include vegan DHA from algae that supports optimal brain, visual and overall health in babies; choline to support baby’s brain and spinal cord development; a form of chelated iron that is highly absorbable and gentle on the stomach; and methylated folate, an important B vitamin during pregnancy and is key for neural tube development and DNA synthesis, the company said.
Other ingredients in the supplement range include vitamin B12, vitamin D3, biotin, iodine, iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K1, vitamin K12, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, niacin, vitamin B6, molybdenum, magnesium, zinc, selenium, boron, manganese and chromium.
Made with vegan and non-GMO ingredients, the supplements do not contain artificial colors or sweeteners, and are certified clean. In addition, the product’s bottles are made from upcycled Prevented Ocean Plastic to ensure the wellness of moms, babies and the planet, the company said.
