L’Oréal Paris is bringing its “Stand Up Against Street Harassment” program to the virtual world through a partnership with Roblox.

From Oct. 27 to Nov. 30, the program will offer Roblox users an immersive training on how to react when facing street harassment through an educative experience that lives on the Livetopia space on the platform.

The interactive experience puts users in situations where they will face street harassment scenarios and as a result have to find and use various tools and actions, which represent the 5Ds methodology, to learn how to safely react when witnessing harassment.

This new experience is part of the brand's strategy to connect with the generations active on Roblox, who are the most likely to be harassed in public spaces and raising awareness about a pressing issue for them, the company said.

"At L’Oréal Paris we are proud to extend our Stand up against street harassment training program on Roblox, to reach and train even more people," said Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, L’Oréal Paris CEO. "Equal access to the public space should be a basic freedom, as every woman should be able to walk without fear, anytime, anywhere.”

Based on L’Oréal Paris’ vision of building safe, civil and diverse communities and spaces, this immersive experience aims to encourage positive change in society and contribute to a more inclusive world, the companies noted.
