L’Oréal’s Color&Co caters to semipermanent hair color needs

L’Oréal’s at-home personalized hair color brand, Color&Co, is looking to cater to those who prefer semi-permanent hair dye.

New from the company is the Color Gloss Conditioner, available in six shades, the product is a weekly treatment that looks to eliminate brassy tones, as well as help in maintaining hair color vibrancy and longevity.

“Our Color Gloss Conditioners provide the perfect solution for refreshing and maintaining color-treated hair between color applications so fading can become a thing of the past,” Deb Rosenberg, Color&Cos AVP of education and lead in-house colorist said. “Additionally, they are a commitment-free way to tone and deposit color-correcting pigments on both regular color users and non-users alike.”

Formulated with conditioning ingredients, available shades include:

  • Cool Down, which looks to remove unwanted yellow, as well as neutralize brassy tones for blonde, brunette and highlighted hair;
  • Cool Red, which aims to revive a faded brown to a deep, rich and red that also aims to maintain vibrancy. It’s formulated for such deep shades as plum, grape and merlot;
  • Warm Red Copper, which enhances natural red tones while also adding warmth and dimension to subtle hints of red and copper;
  • True Red, which has been formulated to intense red shades, it looks to add vibrancy, as well as red and cherry tones to tresses;
  • Mahogany Rose, which is ideal for those with medium blonde to light brown hair, it provides a rose gold effect while also adding subtle hints of pink tones to hair and elevating neutral shades; and
  • Sun-Kissed Gold, which warms up tresses and adds golden tones to blonde or brunette hair.

Free of PPD, resorcinol, sulfates, ammonia and parabens, Color&Co’s Color Gloss Conditioner is available online at colorandco.com for $29 per unit.
