Love Beauty and Planet, East Olivia reimagine Valentine’s Day gifts

Unilever’s Love Beauty and Planet has a Valentine’s Day collaboration up its sleeve.

The brand is joining forces with female-founded online floral retailer East Olivia on a reimagined take on the traditional cards and flowers gifted on the holiday.

Aimed at making the celebrations cleaner and greener, the two are launching the limited-edition Love Beauty and Planet x East Olivia Plant Your Love Kit.

Featuring a personalized note printed on plantable seed paper, the kit also contains a flowerpot, gardening gloves, soil and a Love Beauty and Planet hand cream.

For every kit produced, Love Beauty and Planet also will be donating the cost — $45 — to Urban Growers Collective, a Black and women-led nonprofit that looks to address inequities in the food system and communities of color in Chicago.
