Powered by SmartDye technology, which deposits color where it is needed most — mid-lengths and ends — the application is as simple as using the product in the place of a regular conditioner.
“At Madison Reed, we are laser-focused on getting your color right,” Amy Errett, founder and CEO of Madison Reed, said. “It starts with our salon-quality gorgeous color with ingredients you can feel good about — and continues with our commitment to developing color-loving hair treatments — like Color Therapy — that help you maintain your color.”
Color Therapy also acts as a deep conditioner by helping restore dry, brittle ends, and contains argan oil to restore shine to color, as well as keratin and ginseng root to leave hair feeling soft and hydrated, the company said.
“We don't see the pace slowing down for Madison Reed,” Errett said. “We are committed to meeting our customers where they are — and it was clear that our clients wanted an easier way to maintain their color that integrated into their current routines.”
Color Therapy is available in four shades:
- Perla, which adds violet tones, neutralizes brassiness in blonde and highlighted hair;
- Dorato, which brings golden honey tones to brunette or blonde hair;
- Caffé, which adds smoky ash tones, and also looks to neutralize brassiness in brunette hair; and
- Castagna, which brings warm chestnut tones to brunette hair.
Like all other Madison Reed products, Color Therapy is free of ammonia, PPD, resorcinol, parabens, phthalates, gluten, SLS and titanium oxide.
Color Therapy currently is available for purchase online at Madison-Reed.com, as well as Madison Reed Color Bars. The line will hit launch in-store and online at Ulta Beauty in the fall.
