    FAIRFIELD, Calif. — On Tuesday, Jelly Belly Candy Co. introduced new Camo Beans, a special selection of jelly beans inspired by the art of camouflage, as well as a new support initiative for military families.

    Jelly Belly Camo Beans come in 3.5-oz. bags in 12-ct. cases and come with seven flavors inside each bag: chocolate pudding, green apple, licorice, juicy pear, orange sherbet, toasted marshmallow and watermelon.

  • Walgreens enhances photo creation capabilities on mobile app

    DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens on Wednesday announced the latest updates to its iPhone mobile app that allows users to create photo cards with such special themes as thank you, holidays, announcements and invitations. Unique collages also can be created directly from an iPhone. Walgreens is the first retailer to provide the ability to create collage prints using a mobile device and pick them up in about an hour, the company stated. Photos for these creations easily can be uploaded from the user’s phone, Facebook or Instagram albums.

  • Hospira wins approval for Europe's first biosimilar monoclonal antibody

    LEAMINGTON SPA, United Kingdom — European regulators have approved the European Union's first biosimilar monoclonal antibody. The new product, made by U.S.-based Hospira, comes seven years after the approval of Europe's first biosimilar.

    Hospira announced Tuesday the European Medicines Agency's approval of Inflectra (infliximab) for the treatment of autoimmune disorders like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis.

    TREVOSE. Pa. — Media Enterprises scored big with the introduction of the As Seen on TV product Tag Away into the mass market. Within its first year on shelf, the homeopathic solution that promises to remove skin tags naturally has generated more than $18.3 million. That makes Tag Away one of the more significant contributors to the 18.4% annualized growth within wart removers, which generated $125.2 million in overall sales for the 52 weeks ended July 14 across total U.S. multi-outlets, according to IRI data.
