  • Greenstone launches authorized generic painkiller

    PEAPACK, N.J. — Greenstone has launched an authorized generic painkiller, the company said.

    Greenstone, the generics arm of Pfizer, announced the introduction of authorized generic oxaprozin caplets in the 600 mg strength. The drug is a version of Pfizer's Daypro, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, or NSAID.

    Authorized generics are branded drugs sold under their generic names at a reduced price.

    Diamonds deliver the highest thermal conductivity of any known solid, and low friction for improved heat transfer and faster, smoother, snag-free styling, according to the company. Tourmaline and ceramic also can be found in this line for frizz-free locks, shiny strands and even heat transfer for healthier results.

  • Whataburger enters retail market with condiment line

    SAN ANTONIO — Today, at the Whataburger Family Convention, a biannual gathering of more than 2,000 Whataburger attendees, CEO Preston Atkinson announced Whataburger will launch into retail stores for the first time by bottling its line of condiments — Fancy Ketchup, Spicy Ketchup and Original Mustard — making them available exclusively at all Texas and Mexico H-E-B stores this summer. H-E-B will also add a new product based on Whataburger’s iconic brand called Whatafries.

  • Inergetics to distribute brands through Hy-Vee

    NEWARK, N.J. — Inergetics will distribute its Bikini Ready Weight Loss Lifestyle and SlimTrim diet brands through a Midwestern supermarket-pharmacy chain, the company said Tuesday.

    Inergetics said the products had gained initial distribution with Hy-Vee, based in West Des Moines, Iowa.

    The company said it hoped to increase distribution with Hy-Vee in the near term.

    MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — Barbara's, a natural foods company, today announced the expansion of its Snackimals product line to the cereal aisle with two flavors of cereal for kids.

    Snackimals Cereals are hitting retail shelves now in two varieties: Vanilla Blast and Cinnamon Crunch.
