Oxy Total Care aims to kick hormonal acne to the curb

Gisselle

Oxy is taking a new approach to fighting hormonal acne at any age.

How so? Via its new Total Care daily acne therapy collection, which is for all ages and acne-prone skin types.

Each product part of the line is formulated with HydroTreat Technology — a combination of hyaluronic acid and dermatologist-recommended acne medication that aims to help clear, smooth and replenish skin.

In addition, Oxy Total Care looks to provide users with 9-benefits-in-1 to help simplify skin care routines, as well as feature a formula that free of oil and will not clog pores, the Orchard Park, N.Y.-based company said.

Products encompassing the collection include:

  • Creamy Cleanser, which is a daily foaming cleanser designed to deep-clean and moisturize skin. It contains a gentle level of clinically proven acne medication that looks to help clear skin and prevent breakouts without stripping or over-drying skin;
  • Clarifying Moisturizer, which aims to moisturize, control facial oil and eliminate acne pimples. It contains benzoyl peroxide to treat and prevent breakouts, and also both softens and smooths skin; and
  • Vitamin C Serum, which combines vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and acne medication to help keep skin soft, clear and glowing. It also evens and brightens skin tone, helps fade acne marks, and also contains K-beauty inspired fermented mushroom extract to help speed up skin’s regenerating process.

The Oxy Total Care line of products retail for under $20 and can be found at Walgreens, Publix, Shop Rite, Albertsons, Safeway, UNFI, Supervalu and Ahold Delhaize grocery stores, as well as online.
