Prairie Organic Spirits launches craft cocktails
Prairie Organic Spirits’ portfolio is expanding.
The Princeton, Minn.-based company is launching its new Sparkling Craft Cocktails, which are USDA-certified organic and feature natural ingredients.
Containing 120 calories, 5 g of carbs, 5 g of organic cane sugar, and a 5% ABV per can, the beverages are available in three flavors:
- Grapefruit with Prairie Organic Vodka and infused with natural ingredients for a citrus flavor;
- Cucumber Lemonade contains the brand’s organic vodka and the essence of lemon and cucumber for a refreshing taste; and
- Minnesota Bootleg features Prairie Organic Gin, as well as mint, lime and a hint of sweetness.
“With the popularity of canned spirits ever on the rise here in the United States and beyond, we wanted to create a product that not only meets consumers' demand, but is also made with natural and organic ingredients that they can feel good about drinking,” Meghan Murray, vice president of marketing at Phillips Distilling, said. “There's no mystery about what types of ingredients might be lurking in these cans. Our new Prairie Organic Sparkling Craft Cocktails are jam-packed with our award-winning vodka and gin, along with refreshing flavors, and serve as the perfect ready-to-enjoy cocktail that anyone can enjoy year-round.”
In addition to launching its new beverages, the company also is giving back to the farmers who help harvest the corn needed to produce them.
Through a partnership with the Rodale Institute, Prairie Organic Spirits is supporting the Spirit of Change Fund, which aids the next generation of organic farmers by helping them go more organic in their practices by donating 1% of sales.
