NationsBenefits announced a direct point-of-sale integration strategy and basket analyzer technology that is now accepted at Publix Super Markets.

Following Terra Crossing, the next five Kentucky stores are expected to open in Louisville, Lexington and Walton.

Publix Super Markets Charities also is donating $100,000 to aid in relief efforts.

Publix has donated more than 2.6 million pounds of produce during the 2023 holidays.

The donation will support more than 250 nonprofit organizations focused on providing housing and shelter services, including 125 Habitat for Humanity affiliates.

Effective Jan. 1, CEO Todd Jones will become executive chairman, President Kevin Murphy will be promoted to CEO and Senior Vice President John Goff will be promoted to president.

The grocer is expected to open a second location in the Hampton Roads area in early 2025.

The technology provides predictive analytics, quick adjustments for re-ordering and drug forecasting so Publix knows which prescription medications to fast-track to which stores.
