  • CVS' MinuteClinic sees 18% revenue growth during Q3

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark posted “solid” results during its third quarter, and its MinuteClinic business was no exception.

    During the quarter ended Sept. 30, the retail clinic business enjoyed revenue growth of 18%.

    From a comp perspective, MinuteClinic has, most recently, been comping in the teens to low 20s, Dave Denton, EVP, CFO, controller and chief accounting officer, told analysts during the company’s third-quarter conference call Tuesday morning.

  • MinuteClinic enters Northern California, Coastal Southeastern North Carolina

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark has announced that the first MinuteClinic locations in Northern California and the Bay Area have now opened inside select CVS/pharmacy stores in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.  

    Three MinuteClinic locations are now operating in Foster City, San Jose and Sunnyvale CVS/pharmacy stores. Four additional clinics will begin to treat patients in November in Burlingame, Campbell, Mountain View and Santa Clara.

  • Eight MinuteClinic locations open in La.

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark has opened eight new MinuteClinic locations in Louisiana, the company said Wednesday.

    CVS said it opened the clinics inside CVS/pharmacy stores in Baton Roughe, Mandeville, Slidell and Thibodaux, with plans to open four more in New Orleans, Metairie, Prairieville and Kenner. The openings make Louisiana the 27th state in which MinuteClinic operates.

  • CVS Caremark officially announces opening of first MinuteClinic in Hawaii

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark’s MinuteClinic on Thursday officially announced the opening of its first walk-in medical clinic in Hawaii at the Longs Drug store on South King Street in Honolulu near the University of Hawaii, Manoa.

    It is the first of seven MinuteClinic locations to open inside select Longs Drug stores on Oahu in the next two weeks. Additional clinics will serve patients in Aiea, Hawaii Kai, Kailua, Kaneohe, Kapolei and Waialae, the company stated.
