Walgreens is making progress on freeing up pharmacists to spend more time with patients who need extra attention, according to Rina Shah, group vice president of specialty and retail pharmacy operations.

Walgreens and Ohio-based health system TriHealth on Monday announced a plan to transfer seven of Walgreens’ existing company-managed clinics in the Cincinnati area to TriHealth.
