The Rite Aid Foundation's $75,000 donation to the American Red Cross will be divided to help relief efforts in Northern and Southern California.

The grants are aimed at enabling children’s hospitals to further efforts focused on improving the health of children in the communities where Rite Aid operates. 

The Rite Aid Foundation has completed another round of KidCents regional grants, this time disbursing more than $5 million to 233 nonprofits.

Rite Aid reported a net loss of $78.7 million, or $1.48 per share, and adjusted net income of $6.3 million, or 12 cents per share.

The Rite Aid Foundation announced that 390 students have been selected as 2019 Folds of Honor educational scholarship recipients through its KidCents program.
