Sargento elevates snacking with cheese pairings

Sargento is pairing flavors together in order to give consumers a great snacking experience.

New to the Plymouth, Wash.-based company’s portfolio are Snack Bites, which consist of two complementary flavors of natural cheese that been paired together to enhance each other’s flavors.

“We wanted to shake up our snack offerings to break through the clutter of all the snacking options out there with a tasty and unique snack pack for those who really love cheese,” Michael Roslen, the marketing manager of Sargento Foods said. “We've created something distinctive that excites and entices our cheese-loving customers by pairing cheeses that are full-of-flavor and become better together, creating the perfect match.”

Available in a six-count package that contains 7 g of protein and 110 calories per 1-oz. serving, pairings include — Colby + Monterey Jack, fiesta pepper jack + asadero, sharp white cheddar + mild yellow cheddar and rustic gouda + mild yellow cheddar.

Sargento’s Snack Bites can be found at retailers nationwide in the dairy section beginning in April.
