BOSTON — On Saturday, suppliers and retailers met at the annual Meet the Market at NACDS Total Store Expo 2016.

Friday night in Boston, before NACDS TSE officially kicked off, the Emerson party was held at the Boston Harbor Hotel in the Wharf Room.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Martello has been named the winner of the 2016 ECRM/Drug Store News Buyers Choice Award for its Yummy Spoon, a self-feeding baby spoon designed to help parents easily feed their babies.

Oralabs, a Parker, Colo.-based supplier of personal care products, has been named the winner of the 2016 ECRM/Drug Store News Buyers Choice Award for its Waterless by Gillette Venus female shaver.

The award was presented during ECRM’s 2016 Personal Care, Grooming, Travel & Oral EPPS held July 10 to 13 in Orlando. London, U.K.-based Bulldog Skincare for Men was the finalist with its Original Beard Oil.

Standing in the Chicago Cultural Center underneath the largest Tiffany glass dome in the world, Cardinal Health VP Medicine Shoppe International, Inc. John Fiacco presented seven Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy and Medicap Pharmacy franchisees with Operational Excellence, Clinical Innovation and Professional Achievement awards. He also named the MSI Franchisee of the Year.

Cardinal Health RBC 2016 in Chicago, held July 20 to 23, included speaker Michael J. Fox, entertainment from the Blues Brothers, magicians and music at the Customer Appreciaiton Night at the Museum of Science and Industry, both a legislative and caregiver customer panel, game-show entertainment, artist, author and speaker Erik Wahl, and of course continuing education sessions, the tradeshow floor and Camp Cardinal Health.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Session Savers Sunscreen, a San Diego-based supplier of on-the-go sun care products, has been named the winner of the 2016 ECRM/Drug Store News Buyers Choice Award for its eponymous line of sunscreen products.

Barnes & Noble's new beauty venture, a store-within-a-store called The Glossary, has expanded across the country, with a mix of upscale and drug store beauty products.

The Glossary is a store-within-a-store concept that Barnes & Noble College describes as a “dynamic shopping environment that offers students the opportunity to explore, sample and purchase a wide variety of mass and prestige beauty products.”
