SweeTarts’ latest confections offer fruity, tart flavors
SweeTarts’ candy offerings have some new additions that are sure to curb sugar cravings.
The Chicago-based company is launching two new confections — Twisted Rainbow Punch Ropes and Twisted Mixed Berry Ropes Bites.
“SweeTarts Soft & Chewy Ropes are our fastest-growing item in recent brand history, and we are so excited to bring fans not one, but two, new variations of these popular candies,” said Ashley Incarnato, senior brand manager at Ferrara. “At SweeTarts, we are always looking to innovate and tap into trends like the colorful appeal of rainbows and the increasingly popular mixed berry flavor profile. This is yet another way for SweeTarts to take our most popular products and appeal to consumers, old and new!”
Twisted Rainbow Punch Ropes feature vibrant multi-colors, have a fruit punch flow that is mixed with a tart filling and are available in four sizes — a 3-oz. small peg that retails for $1.99, 3.5-oz. share pack for $1.99, 5-oz. medium peg for $2.49 and 9-oz. size for $3.49.
On the other hand, the Twisted Mixed Berry Ropes Bites are a poppable candy that combines cherry, strawberry and raspberry flavors together with a tart center, and also are available in four sizes — a 3-oz. small peg for $1.99, 3.5-oz. share pack for $1.99, 5-oz. peg for $2.49 and 8-oz. size for $3.99.
Both new launches from SweeTarts will roll out to mass market, grocery and convenience stores this spring.
