  • Publix teams up with Instacart on grocery delivery

    LAKELAND, Fla. -- Publix is joining Costco, Whole Foods and other retailers in providing grocery delivery service through a partnership with Instacart.

    Publix announced Wednesday that it would begin its Instacart service in select areas of Miami beginning July 12. Instacart is an e-commerce and delivery service that allows customers to place their grocery orders online and have their items delivered right to their doorsteps. Customers can place orders by visiting www.instacart.com/publix.

  • CVS Pharmacy opens mobile pharmacy unit to serve W.V. flood victims

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - CVS Pharmacy announced Wednesday that the company has opened a mobile pharmacy in Elkview, W.V., in response to the flooding that devastated the area in late June.

    The mobile pharmacy will be open Monday through Saturday from 8 am. – 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and will be fully staffed to meet the community's pharmacy care needs.
