  • Hershey products go red, white and blue for Team USA

    HERSHEY, Pa. -- Iconic candy brand Hershey is unveiling new, patriotic-themed packaging on some of its most popular brands as excitement for builds for the 2016 Olympic Games.

    For the first time in the history of the bar, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar will be swapping out its traditional silver lettering to red, white and blue.

    BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart is looking for innovative retail technology ideas — and casting a wide net to find them.
     
    The discount retailer is launching a “Technology Open Call” aimed at retail technology start-ups. Walmart will consider technology spanning all of retail, including capabilities around the store shopping experience, associate experience, logistics, big data, security and/or social media.
     
  • CVS Pharmacy offers nonprescription naloxone to New Hampshire residents

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - CVS Health announced Thursday it has made the opioid overdose reversal medication naloxone available without a prescription at all CVS Pharmacy locations in New Hampshire. CVS Health has established a standing order with physicians in New Hampshire that allows CVS Pharmacy to expand access to the medication in the Granite State.

  • CVS Health marking National Prescription Drug Take Back Day with several initiatives

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - CVS Health is marking National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, this Saturday April 30, with the announcement that its Medication Disposal for Safer Communities Program has donated more than 500 drug collection units to law enforcement partners across the U.S., resulting in the safe disposal of more than 35 metric tons of unwanted medication to date.  
     
  • Former Target chief merchant joins consulting firm

    SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Former Target executive Kathryn Tesija has joined CPG/retail consulting firm Simpactful as a senior adviser and consultant.

    Tesija spent 30 years at Target Corp., most recently as chief merchandising and supply chain officer. She will be a senior adviser and consultant for Simpactful, based in Minneapolis.
