The free app, available in the iTunes store, will facilitate and further enhance customer access to Duane Reade’s pharmacy services, photo printers, prescription refills, Balance Rewards offers, account information and in-store maps.  

  • Drug take-back events scheduled for 35 Giant-Carlisle stores

    CARLISLE, Pa. — Thirty-five Giant Food Stores and Martin's Food Markets stores in Pennsylvania and Virginia will sponsor drug take-back events later this month.

    The chains, which collectively comprise Ahold USA's Giant-Carlisle banner, will sponsor the events on April 27, in partnership with local law enforcement agencies and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Patients can bring expired and unwanted medications, which will be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner for free.

    SAN FRANCISCO — ECOtality and Kroger on Monday announced an expanded partnership that includes the installation of more than 200 level-2 (quick-charge) charging stations, and 25 DC Fast Chargers, to be installed across key markets through the EV Project. This multimillion dollar expansion will bring the total number of Blink chargers at the Kroger Family of Stores to almost 300.
