    SALT LAKE CITY — Identigene last month began placing its Identigene DNA paternity test kit on the shelves of New York-based Duane Reade pharmacies after meeting the more restrictive testing requirements for the state.


  • Report: Private-label beer arrives at Walgreens

    DEERFIELD, Ill. — A Novato, Calif.-based corporate brand beer supplier has launched a private-label beer for Walgreens, according to published reports.

    Winery Exchange is the producer behind Big Flats 1901, a lager brewed by Genesee Brewing Co., based in Rochester, N.Y. Big Flats 1901 sells for around 50 cents per can at most Walgreens stores, according to reports.

    Winery Exchange's retail partners include Supervalu, Kroger, Costco, Delhaize and more.

    Sold almost exclusively through Walgreens for the past year, the burn cream is beginning to expand distribution through such grocers as Pathmark and Food City, as well as regional pharmacy operators Kinney Drugs and Kerr Drug.
