MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - Walmart Canada announced Wednesday the launch of its new online shopping application for iPhone and Android users.

"We're always looking for ways to enhance our customers' shopping experience," stated Rick Neuman, EVP technology and e-commerce at Walmart Canada.  "The Walmart app saves customers time and money and provides better access to products while at home or on the go."

The app promises to help customers browse and check out efficiently with features such as:

BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- Walmart has asked suppliers to remove "high priority chemicals," such as formaldehyde and triclosan, from their products as part of an effort to eliminate controversial chemicals from household goods.

The chemicals on the list include “certain properties that can affect human health or the environment,” Walmart said in a statement issued Wednesday. 

WASHINGTON - The American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists, with the support of Amgen, Cardinal Health and Rite Aid, held leadership and professional development programming this weekend in Washington for 240 student pharmacists. BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Walmart on Wednesday announced that Walmart Pay is now available in the more than 4,600 Walmart stores nationwide.

Available through the Walmart app, Walmart Pay works with any iOS or Android device, at any checkout lane and with any credit, debit, pre-paid or Walmart gift card. Walmart Pay is like no other mobile payments solution available today, expanding access to mobile payments and improving the way customers check out in all Walmart stores in the U.S.
