Meijer is continuing its annual Very Merry Meijer tradition of surprising customers in its supercenters and stores across the Midwest with a $1,000 shopping spree.
Meijer’s Black Friday sale, taking place Nov. 22 to 28, is now a weeklong event that allows consumers to adjust their shopping strategies due to the ongoing pandemic, the company said.
The retailer will implement such safety measures as installing hand sanitizing stations in high-traffic areas, extending Black Friday deals and adding timeslots to its pickup service.
Meijer’s Capital City Market, which carries an assortment of fresh, local and convenient food at low prices, has opened its third location in Lansing, Mich.
The digital event is aimed at giving diverse-owned businesses an opportunity to get their products in front of Meijer merchants and potentially onto the chain’s shelves.
