  • Tom Thumb, Albertsons introduce Fort Worth-area grocery delivery

    FORT WORTH, Texas  — Albertsons and banner Tom Thumb on Wednesday announced a new grocery delivery program in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that will see a fleet of home delivery trucks hitting the streets in the area. The grocery delivery service will be available to Tom Thumb and Albertsons customers at tomthumb.com and through the Tom Thumb Android and iOS delivery app. 
     
  • Safeway to open weight loss clinics in 5 Bay Area stores

    SAN FRANCISCO — Weight loss clinics will soon be coming to several Bay Area Safeway stores. Safeway, alongside Costa Mesa, Calif.-based weight loss clinic chain Lean for Life By Lindora Clinic, announced Friday that Lean for Life by Lindora Clinics will be opening on Oct. 10 at five Safeway stores in Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Menlo Park and San Jose. 
     
  • Albertsons looks to MyWebGrocer for click-and-collect, delivery at 5 banners

    BOISE, Id. — Albertsons announced this week that it would be partnering with e-commerce and digital marketing company MyWebGrocer to use software within its Digital Experience Platform to enable the company’s e-commerce strategy at some of its banners. 
     
    Five Albertsons banners — Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, United, ACME Market and Star Market — will be using MyWebGrocer’s solutions to ramp up the launch of their click-and-collect and delivery options.
