  • Rite Aid names winners of 12th Annual Favorite Pharmacy Team Member contest

    CAMP HILL, Pa. -- Rite Aid is recognizing the winners of its 2015 Vote for Your Favorite Pharmacy Team Member Contest.

    Sharon Balser, a Rite Aid pharmacy technician from Milford, Mich., and Theresa Forrest, a loyal Rite Aid customer from Gwynn Oak, Md., were both selected at random from more than 11,000 unique entries. The contest was designed to recognize Rite Aid pharmacy associates for their commitment to providing excellent customer service.

    PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Foundation awarded $230,000 in scholarships and grants at its Annual Meeting in Palm Beach, Fla., this week.

    Recipients of 2016 NACDS Foundation Scholarships were presented with their awards on Monday night at an NACDS Foundation event during the NACDS Annual Meeting.

    ARLINGTON, Va. -- The National Association of Chain Drug Stores is lending its support to bipartisan federal legislation seeking better care for Medicare patients with chronic conditions.

    NACDS sent letters to U.S. Reps. Erik Paulsen (R-Minn.) and Peter Welch (D-Vt.), the sponsors of the Better Care, Lower Cost Act (H.R. 4878), which would amend the Social Security Act to establish a Medicare Better Care Program to provide integrated medical care for patients with chronic conditions.
