The Great Dollar General Book Match is a one-day event with the goal of filling school and library bookshelves across the country.

The foundation cited industrywide corporate travel restrictions in its decision to cancel its 23rd annual foundation dinner previously slated for December.

The company will invest $25 million with R4 Capital to build 224 affordable housing units for families and seniors in Louisiana.
