  • KIND introduces new bar just in time for holidays

    NEW YORK -- KIND bars and snacks is launching a new product just in time for the holiday season.

    KIND Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Spice has only 5g of sugar (no artificial sweeteners), is gluten free and dairy free, and is high in fiber.

    KIND Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Spice retails for $1.79 per bar. It's available now at retailers nationwide.
     

  • Costco targets busy shoppers with 'Mom Hour' event

    Costco is rolling out its second annual event designed to give moms an extra hour to shop.

    The club retailer's “Mom Hour, a Holiday Shopping Event just for Moms!” event will be held Friday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (an hour before the clubs usually open). Nearly 100 Costco warehouses across the country will be participating.

    Participants will get treats, swag bags and other giveaways, including a discount on membership. 

  • Target focusing on deals, value this holiday season — and John Legend

    Value and promotions will take center stage in Target Corp.’s holiday plans, along with a televised “musical” starring a 10-time Grammy-winning recording artist.

    In addition to new and exclusive merchandise in every product category, Target is offering an array of holiday deals, including the return — and extension by one week — of free shipping for all online orders from Oct. 25 through Jan. 1, 2017.

  • Fred’s offering flu vaccines as season kicks off

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Highlighting the more than 200,000 people hospitalized as a result of complications from the flu, Fred’s pharmacy announced Tuesday that it will be offering flu vaccines to help patients proactively protect against the flu. 
     
    Fred’s said that its pharmacists would work with patients to figure out which version of the flu vaccine is best for them. The company also noted that flu vaccines are free with most insurance plans, though copays may apply. 
     
  • Deloitte: 66% of holiday shoppers plan to browse online and buy in-store

    NEW YORK - Retailers could see record web traffic this year, according to Deloitte's 31st annual holiday survey of consumer spending intentions and trends. Among the findings from the 2016 study, more consumers than ever before plan to shop online for gifts.
