  • Snyders-Lance names interim CEO as Lee retires

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As the company announced its first-quarter financial results, Snyder’s-Lance on Monday announced that its CEO had retired. Carl Lee, Jr., leaves the company after 12 years with Snyder’s-Lance, and director Brian Driscoll — who was formerly president and CEO of Diamond Foods — will be serving as CEO in the interim as the company undertakes a national search for a permanent replacement.

    PORTLAND, Ore. — Omission Brewing, whose beers are crafted to remove gluten, announced Friday the national availability of its latest variety. The Ultimate Light Golden Ale contains 99 calories and 5 carbs per 12-oz.

  • Four Loko intros Bartender Series flavors

    CHICAGO — Phusion Projects’ Four Loko brand is introducing its latest series of products, the Bartender Series of its flavored malt beverages. The company said the Bartender Series is aimed at delivering the taste and experience of a mixed drink in the ready-to-drink category.

    The Bartender Series — taken from drinks made by professional bartenders — currently has three flavors — Blue Mofo, Purple Hooter and Pink Scorpion, whose can designs are inspired by graffiti art.

  • RB adds Lysol Laundry Sanitizer to the routine

    PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Reckitt Benckiser’s Lysol brand is bringing a new element to the laundry process. The company is introducing  Lysol Laundry Sanitizer. Noting that laundry detergent doesn’t necessarily kill bacteria, the brand said the new liquid additive could remove 99.9% of bacteria when added to the laundry routine.

  • Steripod launches travel-size single pack for its toothbrush protector

    LOS ANGELES — Bonfit America on Thursday announced the introduction of a single pack offering for its Steripod clip-on toothbrush protector. Steripod uses thymol to release active vapors, which can keep a toothbrush fresh for up to three months, the company said.

  • Moonshine Sweet Tea gets Target launch

    AUSTIN, Texas — Small-batch beverage brand Moonshine Sweet Tea has landed its largest national account yet. The company announced Wednesday that it would be available in 1,472 Target stores, being sold in the front-store “Café Coolers” section.
