    EDISON, N.J. — Designer Greetings has unveiled its new redesigned website.

    The greeting card publisher said the new site highlights its extensive greeting card line — which touts more than 21,000 designs — as well as boxed Christmas cards, boxed and packaged invitations and thank you notes, and a gift wrap line. Retailers have the opportunity to browse through the company’s history, achievements and customer testimonials en route to sampling its greeting cards, Designer Greetings said.

  • Rite Aid promotion gives Facebook users first dibs on coupons

    CAMP HILL, Pa. — Rite Aid Facebook fans are getting an early shot at coupons for gifts and stocking stuffers as part of a new promotion announced Monday.

    Rite Aid launched its "25 Deals of Christmas" promotion, which will allow visitors to a special tab on Rite Aid's Facebook page to download coupons for such items as beauty items, men's grooming gift sets, electronics and toys. The promotion started Monday and lasts until Dec. 23.

    ST. LOUIS — Cepia, makers of wildly popular ZhuZhu Pets, has a new line of collectables in its lineup for the 2011 holiday season. Xia-Xia (pronounced “shah-shah”) Pets is a new line of four collectable hermit crabs that walk and dance when their claws are pressed.


    Each character comes with one little crab inside its shell, and the crabs can switch and swap from a collection of 12 candy-colored shells. Three habitat play sets also are available. Play sets and accessories range in price from $5.99 to $19.99.
