  • 'In the Name of the King 2: Two Worlds' arriving on Blu-ray, DVD this winter

    LOS ANGELES — 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is bringing the sequel of an action/adventure franchise to Blu-ray and DVD this December.

    Starring Dolph Lundgren, "In the Name of the King 2: Two Worlds" tells the story of a former Special Forces soldier that is transported back in time to an age of sorcery, dragons and savage hand-to-hand combat. Both the Blu-ray and DVD feature bonus material, including a behind-the-scenes look at the film, commentaries from the director and writer and more.

  • Marley Coffee brings 8-oz. bags of ground coffee to retail

    LOS ANGELES — Marley Coffee has launched 8-oz. bags of its gourmet ground coffee that will hit retail this season.

    The lineup of Marley Coffee includes Mystic Morning, Lively Up espresso blend, One Love single origin Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Simmer Down (organic Swiss Water decaf), Buffalo Soldier and the Get Up Stand Up breakfast blend.

    The Marley Coffee line will be certified organic and retail for $9.99 per 8-oz. bag.

    NEW YORK — Compac Industries has launched an electronic infant formula dispenser.

    Bottle Buddy, which counts a preset amount of powdered formula into a baby’s bottle, is an effective way to make sure babies get the proper nutrition from their bottle, according to the company. The Bottle Buddy is 100% BPA-free, features a clear, LCD display for one-touch operation (making it 50% quicker than manually scooping formula) and is compatible with all leading formula brands.

    Bottle Buddy carries a suggested retail price of $89.99.

  • Yankee Candle launches My Favorite Things line for holiday season

    SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass. — Yankee Candle has introduced a limited-edition collection that includes six new fragrances.

    Inspired by the song “My Favorite Things,” the new collection includes Rain Drops On Roses, Bright Copper Kettles, Warm Woolen Mittens, Crisp Apple Strudel, Moon On Their Wings and Blue Satin Sashes.

    The My Favorite Things line is available in large classic jar candles, small tumbler candles and a storybook-like box that includes 12 samplers votive candles, two of each fragrance. The new collection is available at retailers nationwide.

  • Starbucks officially debuts K-Cup portion packs at retail

    SEATTLE — Starbucks has launched its K-Cup portion packs at major food, drug, mass, club, specialty and department store retailers nationwide.

    Starbucks coffee K-Cup portion packs are available in Starbucks' most popular coffee varieties, including: Breakfast Blend, Pike Place roast, house blend, Sumatra and French roast. In addition, two selections of Tazo tea also are be available, including Tazo tea Awake and Tazo tea Zen.

  • Consumer Cellular gains distribution through Florida-area Walgreens

    PORTLAND, Ore. — Consumer Cellular, the exclusive wireless provider for AARP members, on Tuesday announced a distribution agreement for its line of contract-free cellular phones and plans at 826 Walgreens locations throughout Florida.

    The line of phones includes a Motorola WX345, which features a digital camera, MP3 player and FM radio for $34.99 and the Doro PhoneEasy 410, which features an easy-to-read color display, large buttons, backlit keypad, vibrating ringer and Bluetooth technology for $59.99.

  • P&G expects to close Pringles sale later than expected

    CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble announced that the completion of its deal to sell the Pringles brand to Diamond Foods has been pushed back to June 2012.

    The transaction, which initially was expected to close this December, was delayed "to allow Diamond Foods to complete an accounting investigation." P&G said it remains committed to the transaction and noted that the timing of the deal would not affect P&G's planned restructuring.

    The deal, announced in April, is valued at $2.35 billion.
