    NEW YORK — Diet Pepsi is showing off its skinny side.

    The diet cola will debut its skinny can at New York's Fall 2011 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, held from Feb. 10 to 17, in which Diet Pepsi will serve as the show's official sponsor.

    OAKLAND, Calif. — Clorox is letting consumers know everything the company uses in its products.

    WASHINGTON — The American Beverage Association announced that consumers across the United States soon will find new front-of-pack labels on their favorite beverages as part of an effort by America's leading nonalcoholic beverage companies to bring the Clear on Calories initiative to stores.

  • 'May the force be with you:' M&M's featured in 'Star Wars' novelty items

    NEW YORK — CandyRific has joined Lucasfilm's "Star Wars" with iconic M&M's candies through a new license pairing.

    The new M&M's "Star Wars" lineup includes such items as 9-in. and 12-in. dispensers (retailing for $4.99 and $12.99, respectively), candy fans ($3.99), coin banks ($2.99) and lightsabers ($3.99). Many of the products feature M&M's dressed as classic "Star Wars" characters, including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader and Han Solo.

  • J.M. Smucker to boost coffee prices

    ORRVILLE, Ohio — The J.M. Smucker Co. said it is increasing the list price for many of its coffee products sold under the Folgers and Dunkin' Donuts brand names.

    The company said prices will rise an average of 10% for the aforementioned items as part of its sustainability efforts.

    J. M. Smucker noted that it holds a license for the Dunkin' Donuts brand and sells the brand-name packaged coffee products across various retail channels, not including Dunkin' Donuts restaurants.

    EDGEWATER, N.J. — This month, expect to see performance pantyhose in the hosiery aisle at Duane Reade.

    Glogover Hosiery said its Convertibles line, available in four sizes and in black and nude colors, touts the first-ever performance pantyhose with a seamless toe flap, giving its user more ways to wear the pantyhose, including a closed toe, open toe or at ankle-high length.

    Convertibles by Glogover Hosiery will roll out in Duane Reade stores in New York and New Jersey for a suggested retail price of $9.99.

    NEW YORK — Anchor Bay Entertainment is bringing a story of love and family to DVD this spring.

    "Your Love Never Fails," starring Elisa Donovan, centers around Laura (Donovan), a woman who is raising her 9-year-old daughter while trying to excel in her career as an investment banker in New York. After Laura's estranged husband, Dylan, files for joint custody for their daughter, Laura must return to her hometown in Texas and soon learns to re-prioritize her life.
