C’est Moi’s Sunshine Mineral SPF line protects from harmful rays

C’est Moi is rolling out a new clean, safe and reef-friendly sunscreen collection.

Aimed to help users enjoy the sunshine while also keeping away 98% of the sun’s harmful rays, the Sunshine Mineral Sunscreen collection consists of two products that are water-resistant and formulated with reef-friendly non-nano zinc oxide.

First up in terms of the new launches is the Sunshine Mineral Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 45, which retails for $16 and is water-resistant up to 40 minutes. Containing mineral zinc oxide that has been combined with the brand’s antioxidant blend, the lotion aims to protect skin from the sun while also keeping reefs safe and happy too.

The second, and final launch in the collection is the Mineral Sunscreen Face Stick Broad Spectrum SPF 50. Also water-resistant up to 80 minutes, the product retails for $10 and also contains a reef-safe formula.

Both products also contain shea butter to hydrate skin and do not leave behind a white cast, the company said.

Like other products from the brand, the new launces are not tested animals and do not contain fragrances, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, propylene glycol or dyes.

Ingredients used are clean, dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic and reef-friendly, the company said.

C’est Moi’s Sunshine Mineral Sunscreen collection products will be available for purchase on May 15 at cestmoi.com.
