Ferrero Group acquires Power Crunch

Ferrero Group has signed an agreement to acquire Power Crunch from Bio-Nutritional Research Group. 

Founded in 1996, Power Crunch has a portfolio that includes protein snacks, wafer bars and high-protein crisps.

As part of the transaction, Ferrero will take over an office site in Irvine, Calif., with approximately 50 employees joining the Ferrero Group in North America.

The proposed transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to customary closing conditions.
