Albertsons’ net sales and other revenue increased to $24.3 billion during the first quarter of fiscal 2024 compared to $24.1 billion during the prior year period.
The portfolio to be acquired consists of global NRT brand Nicotinell and local brands Nicabate, Habitrol and Thrive in markets outside of the United States.
Overall retail sales in May 2024 were up 0.1% seasonally adjusted month-over-month and up 2.3% unadjusted year-over-year, according to new data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
