    NEW YORK — Revlon’s Elizabeth Arden brand has unveiled its latest collaboration — a line of body sprays with fitness brand Tapout. The Tapout Body Sprays collection features actor, producer and WWE Superstar John Cena as a brand ambassador.

  • Yellow Wood closes sale of PDC brands

    BOSTON — PDC Brands, whose portfolio includes such personal care and beauty brands as Dr. Teal’s, Cantu, Body Fantasies, BOD Man and Eylure, has officially been sold to CVC Capital Partners. Yellow Wood Partners picked up roughly $1.42 billion for the company, which it acquired five years ago.

  • ECRM acquires product discovery platform RangeMe

    SOLON, Ohio and SAN FRANCISCO — Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing has acquired a technology company that has been changing how retailers discover new suppliers.

    The company on Tuesday announced the acquisition of RangeMe, which streamlines new product discovery in a way that ECRM said will complement the foundation it has laid in helping buyers discover new products and improve category planning effectiveness.

  • L’Oréal USA makes progress on its sustainability goals

    NEW YORK — L’Oréal USA on Wednesday shared the progress it has made in its sustainability efforts, Sharing Beauty for All.

    The achievements include 100% renewable electricity for its U.S. manufacturing, an 84% reduction in carbon emissions and a slashing its water usage 52%. Additionally, the company’s waste per finished product has been reduced by 43%, as it simultaneously makes improvements in package design.

  • Jennifer Lopez teams with Designer Parfums to grow fragrance line

    NEW YORK — Prestige beauty company Designer Parfums on Monday announced a new partnership with actress, singer, entertainer and producer Jennifer Lopez to expand her fragrance house. She will work alongside the company’s chairman and CEO Dilesh Mehta to create a new brand strategy and innovation to drive growth for her fragrance franchise. 

    Lopez launched her debut fragrance in 2003, and has launched 23 fragrances since.
