  • American Greetings spices up birthday calendar app on Facebook

    CLEVELAND — American Greetings has teamed up with BigDates Solutions to further enhance the birthday calendar application on Facebook.

  • Kodak's board approves promotions

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Kodak announced Wednesday that its board of directors promoted three executives.

    Laura Quatela, chief intellectual property officer, and Terry Taber, chief technical officer, were named SVPs this week. Quatela, who also assumes the role of general counsel, will add SVP to her title on Jan. 1. Taber's election is effective immediately.

    Kodak's board also elected Timothy Lynch — who currently serves as managing director of intellectual property transactions — as a VP of the company, effective immediately.

  • Kodak extends Facebook relationship with social photo album creator

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Kodak's latest social network innovation has arrived.

    The social photo album creator for Facebook — which can be accessed at Apps.facebook.com/kodak-social and also is available on Kodak photo kiosks — allows consumers to easily combine photos from the social networking site with other photo albums, thereby taking the guesswork out of combining photos from multiple albums into one.

    CINCINNATI — Pampers has launched a new baby shower and registry guide on PampersVillage.com for expectant moms and dads. The online resource features two applications, My Baby Registry and My Baby Shower.

  • CVS develops photo app for Facebook users

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS/pharmacy has launched its new CVS Express Photo app, which enables Facebook users to order prints from their Facebook albums without leaving the website, with prints ready for pickup in about an hour at their local CVS/pharmacy.

  • Candle Warmers Etc. inks deal with Pende

    LAYTON, Utah — A patented candle warming appliances company has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Pende.

    Through the agreement, Candle Warmers Etc. will receive access to Pende's patented candle warmer fan technology, and will add Pende's Candle Breeze and CandleAire electric candle warmers, as well as the Cand-O wickless scented candle discs, to its product assortment of candle-warming appliances and related giftware appliances and accessories.

  • Mizco to distribute Ecko-branded electronic accessories

    AVENEL, N.J. — Mizco recently inked a licensing agreement with Marc Ecko Enterprises, bringing the first-ever line of Ecko-inspired electronic accessory and mobile technology products to design-conscious technology enthusiasts.

    The Ecko line of Mizco products includes headphones; iPhone, iPad and MP3 cases; and camera accessories that are available for a suggested retail price ranging from $19.99 to $99.
