    CYPRESS, Calif. Bandai America has revitalized its Tamagotchi brand.

    New TamaTown Tama-Go virtual pets now are available at retailers nationwide, Bandai America said. The redesigned TamaTown Tama-Go features a new high-contrast, four gray-scale display screen, a changeable design face plate and the choice of Gotchi figure.

    BURLINGTON, N.J. Franklin Electronic Publishers will launch this week its Roadie portable speaker systems, designed for customers on the go.

  • Paramount Licensing announces T-shirt deal with Ripple Junction

    LOS ANGELES Paramount Licensing has inked a deal with Ripple Junction to manufacture T-shirts based on hit films.

     

    Some designs, which include "Days of Thunder," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "The Naked Gun," are in stores now, and others will be hitting the marketplace throughout the fall season. 

     

    Suggested retail price ranges from $17 to $20 each.

  • Headcase gets in on iPad game with playful case

    ORLANDO, Fla. The world's most popular drawing toy soon will be available as a backdrop for one of the hottest electronic devices on the market.

    Headcase, in partnership with Ohio Art, has launched the Etch A Sketch iPad case. The Etch A Sketch iPad case resembles the toy and is made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, allowing for the ultimate in protection for an iPad case, Headcase said. The case also gives way to easy use, including a retractable kickstand that allows users to prop up the iPad.
