Häagen-Dazs highlights its founders with new launches

Häagen-Dazs is rolling out its first original flavor release since 2022. 

Inspired by its founders, Rose and Reuben Mattus, the new flavor additions include New York Strawberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Caramel Pecan. 

The New York Strawberry Cheesecake flavor features cheesecake ice cream with a swirl of strawberry sauce and spiced graham cracker crust pieces.

On the other side, the Vanilla Caramel Pecan variety contains vanilla ice cream that is paired with caramel sauce and has caramelized toasted pecans. 

“Our two new, original ice cream flavors New York Strawberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Caramel Pecan are certain to become consumer favorites in our national portfolio,” said Rachel Jaiven, head of Häagen-Dazs Marketing. “The New York Strawberry Cheesecake flavor is a special new flavor, we like to think of it like a love letter to our home city of New York.”

Consumers can find Häagen-Dazs’ new New York Strawberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Caramel Pecan flavors at select locations for $6.49. The new ice cream launches will see nationwide availability by April.
