    PRINCETON, N.J. — Church & Dwight on Tuesday morning unveiled its latest personal massager — Trojan Vibrating Twister — at the Consumer Electronics Show. Also showcased at the electronics show was Trojan BareSkin, the thinnest condom in brand history, Trojan Vibrating Pulse personal massager and Trojan Ecstasy Fire & Ice condoms with personal lubricants on both the interior and exterior of the condom.

  • Oregon, Gaiam partner on wellness products at electronics show

    LAS VEGAS — Oregon Scientific and Gaiam on Wednesday announced a new wellness-bent product offering that includes low-profile heart-rate monitors with touchscreen technology; USB-powered air sanitizers; massagers for the head, back and body; and ultrasonic diffusers and heated candles for aromatherapy, which will be introduced first to buyers attending the Consumer Electronics Show.

    Each product in the line will include a Gaiam Wellness DVD that features such yoga instructors as Rodney Yee providing a comprehensive approach to stress-free living.

  • P&G's Prilosec OTC sponsors second annual Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award

    NEW YORK — Procter & Gamble and popular NFL broadcaster John Madden will be generating exposure for the Prilosec OTC brand with P&G’s sponsorship of the second annual Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award, presented by Prilosec OTC. Voting started Thursday morning.

    The award honors the NFL's best offensive line for the 2010 NFL regular season. Fan voting, which will be available through Jan. 21, serves as the final piece in determining this season's “best protectors” in the NFL.

  • GSK veteran to chair CHPA committee

    WASHINGTON — The Consumer Healthcare Products Association recently named GlaxoSmithKline veteran Janet Carter-Smith chair of the CHPA Retailer Liaison Steering Committee effective Jan. 1. Carter-Smith is the third chair of this committee, succeeding David Howenstine, VP customer and industry development at Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, whose term ended at the end of the year.

    LAS VEGAS — A designer and manufacturer of digital personal healthcare products has launched a blood-pressure monitoring system for the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

    IHealth Lab's iHealth blood-pressure monitoring system lets users measure and track their blood pressure and heart rate.

  • Troy Healthcare buys Stopain, announces line extension

    HAZELTON, Pa. — Troy Healthcare on Wednesday announced its purchase of the Stopain brand from DRJ Group and also stated that a new Stopain gel line extension will be shipping to stores in early 2011.

  • Lansinoh acquires mOmma brand

    ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Lansinoh Labs on Wednesday announced its acquisition of the Italian-designed mOmma brand of baby-feeding products and accessories.

    Terms of the deal were not released.
