Herbal Essences is introducing its latest innovation in hair care.

The brand’s new Pure Plants of Aloe and Camellia Oil is a line of shampoo and conditioners that is formulated to nourish strands while also leaving them lightweight due to its blend of pure aloe and camellia oil.

Pressed from the seeds of the camellia plant, the product is similar to the structure of oils found in naturally healthy hair, is easily absorbed into the hair and helps compliment the moisturizing power of aloe, the company said.

“After learning so many consumers feel they have to compromise between dry or overly saturated hair that feels heavy, we sought to find ingredients that would solve for nourishment without the weigh-down,” said Rob Reiss, P&G NA hair care vice president. “We’re thrilled to introduce New Herbal Essences with Pure Plants of Aloe and Camellia Oil to 11 collections of shampoo and conditioner.”

To complement this new launch, Herbal Essences also shared that it will continue to work towards sustainability and inclusive design by ensuring the shampoo and conditioner bottles are made with 25% less plastic and include tactile markings to aid those with impaired vision.

The full collection of new Pure Plants of Aloe and Camellia Oil products includes Honey, Apricot Oil, Hemp Oil, Passion Flower, Avocado Oil, Eucalyptus, Jojoba Oil, Pure Grapeseed Oil, Argan Oil, Grapefruit and Coconut Oil.

Herbal Essence’s new Pure Plants of Aloe and Camellia Oil collection is available at mass market retailers or online for an SRP of $9.99 per product.
