A collaboration between MyChelle Dermaceuticals and the Coral Restoration Foundation, or CRF, is underway.
CRF, which is a non-profit marine conservation organization dedicated to restoring coral reefs, is partnering with the beauty brand to not only generate support for its mission but also to inspire people to act in saving and restoring coral reefs, the company said.
“MyChelle is known for creating reef-friendly sun care and is proud to align with the incredible force that is the Coral Restoration Foundation. The foundation's valuable mission restores coral reefs, educates on the importance of our oceans and uses science to further coral reef research and preservation,” Martin Floreani, MyChelle president and CEO, said.
MyChelle products are created without the use of such marine-toxic ingredients as oxybenzone, octinoxate, butylparaben, retinyl palmitate and 4-methylbenzlidene camphor.
“Coral Restoration Foundation is thrilled to be collaborating with MyChelle. This relationship will not only generate significant funding to support our mission, but it will also help to reach and inspire even more people to take action to save and restore coral reefs around the world,” Martha Roesler, the chief development officer at the Coral Restoration Foundation, said.
Throughout April, 1% of all MyChelle website proceeds will be donated back to CRF.
