    MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — Upsher-Smith Labs on Monday introduced a new educational program created for patients living with seizure clusters, as well as their families and friends. The initiative — called Seizure Clusters Connect — uses traditional and social media to offer patients and their caregivers a community for learning and support.

  • Snack Factory expands flavor options, adds product

    PRINCETON, N.J. — Snack Factory Pretzel Crisp recently introduced two new flavors, as well as a new product line. The new flavor options include Honey Mustard & Onion and Sea Salt & Crack Pepper, and the new product comes in the form of a "mini" version of its Original and Cheddar flavors, which the company says was inspired by consumer demand for bite-size snacks.

  • Dr. Reddy's launches moxifloxacin tablets

    HYDERABAD, India — Dr. Reddy's Labs announced the launch of moxifloxacin hydrochloride tablets, the generic version of Avelox tablets, in 400-mg form. The drug is available in bottle counts of 30.

    Avelox tablets had U.S. sales of approximately $195 million for the 12 months ending in December 2013, according to IMS Health.

     

  • Galderma launches new Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths

    FORT WORTH, Texas — Galderma Laboratories, the maker of Cetaphil cleansers and moisturizers, has developed the new Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths.

    The formula, based on the classic Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, is now infused within cloths to leave skin feeling fresh and clean.

  • MillerCoors to launch Smith & Forge hard cider

    CHICAGO — MillerCoors on Tuesday announced that a new hard cider, Smith & Forge, will be launched nationally this month. The beverage contains 6% alcohol by volume and features a distinct taste and crisp finish, the company said.

    ANAHEIM, Calif. — La Fresh Group, maker of portable Travel Lite and Eco-Beauty wet wipes, has announced the launch of Eco-Beauty Be Good., a line of skin care products made with a natural anti-aging botanical complex of maqui berry, licorice root, ginkgo leaf, grape seed and hickory bark.

  • Angry Orchard debuts new hard cider variety

    CINCINNATI — Angry Orchard announced the national release of Angry Orchard Green Apple hard cider. The cider, which will appear on store shelves this week, has the tartness of a green apple and is the first year-round style of Angry Orchard hard cider made with American apples, the company said.
