Oscar de la Renta unveils summer fragrances
Oscar de la Renta is adding a tropical touch to the warmer temperatures ahead with the launch of two new fragrances.
Inspired by the Oscar de la Renta handbag, the latest addition to the Eau Sensuelle bottle showcases the Alibi Eau de Parfum shape in a frosted glass finish. The secondary packaging extends the tribute to the handbag by including debossed pick stitch and Saffiano leather details that frame the edges of the carton.

The fragrance features soft undertones of bergamot and white tea, complemented by rose, tiger orchid, musk and amber.
“I wanted to craft a seductive fragrance that would fuse with the skin like a soft whisper; a gentle touch that lingers to create a sense of intrigue—a warm and luxurious signature,” says Perfumer Catherine Selig from Takasago.
Alibi Eau Sensuelle comes in a 100 ml bottle that retails for $113, 50 ml for $93 and 30 ml for $68.
The second fragrance launch from Oscar de la Renta is Bella Tropicale.
Reminiscent of Oscar de la Renta’s gardens in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the brand said the fragrance channels notes similar to that of a blossoming tropical flower.
Inspired by the Bella collection, the Bella Tropicale bottle contains a twist on a traditional floral plaque with a pattern featuring a tropical garden with detailing in a shade of bright coral. The company said that the bottle is finished off with a traditional Bella cap in a gold tone designed to evoke the sun's warmth.
The fragrance contains pineapple fresca, red coral and citrine accord, a heart of a ylang-ylang, coconut water and orange flower absolute, and a base of tonka bean, sandalwood and ocean mist musk.
