    PARSIPPANY, N.J. – While the U.S. OTC market is not highly dynamic in terms of growth, its competitive landscape has changed significantly over the past five years, with the top 10 rankings shifting in 2015, the Kline Group noted on Monday from its recently published Nonprescription Drugs USA.

    WHIPPANY, N.J. - Bayer on Thursday joined the number of companies fielding a TENS pain relief device with Aleve Direct Therapy.

    WASHINGTON —  Since the Food and Drug Administration’s March 25, 2014 Part 15 public hearing on the OTC Drug Monograph, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association has been in discussions with FDA and relevant committees in Congress to identify potential enhancements that would update and modernize this regulatory framework for most nonprescription medicines.

  • Moberg Pharma to acquire 3 U.S. OTC brands from Prestige Brands

    STOCKHOLM -- Moberg Pharma has signed an agreement to acquire U.S. OTC brands New Skin, Fiber Choice and PediaCare from Prestige Brands, Inc.

    The purchase price is $40 million and the acquired brands will be sold through Moberg’s current OTC channel in the U.S, primarily in drugstores such as CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid and in mass retailers such as Walmart and Target.
