ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The National Community Pharmacists Association on Tuesday announced its 2016 lineup of one-day seminars to help community pharmacy owners and front-end staff hone their merchandising and marketing skills, as well as a new sponsorship by Good Neighbor Pharmacy and AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation to continue the Front-End Profit Building Seminars program.

WASHINGTON —  Since the Food and Drug Administration’s March 25, 2014 Part 15 public hearing on the OTC Drug Monograph, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association has been in discussions with FDA and relevant committees in Congress to identify potential enhancements that would update and modernize this regulatory framework for most nonprescription medicines.

STOCKHOLM - Moberg Pharma on Friday announced that the acquisition of three over-the-counter brands from Prestige Brands has been completed as part of a deal worth $40 million.

STOCKHOLM -- Moberg Pharma has signed an agreement to acquire U.S. OTC brands New Skin, Fiber Choice and PediaCare from Prestige Brands, Inc.

The purchase price is $40 million and the acquired brands will be sold through Moberg’s current OTC channel in the U.S, primarily in drugstores such as CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid and in mass retailers such as Walmart and Target.
