Redken rolls out bonding care line formulated for curls
Redken is launching its first bonding care line formulated specifically for curls.
The new Acidic Bonding Curls collection features curl bond technology that helps restore the natural curl pattern and can aid in reviving processed damaged curls and coils.
Infused with coconut, avocado oil and shea butter, the collection is silicone-free and contains citric acid, glycine and urea to penetrate the hair follicle and build bonds while repairing curl strength from the inside out, the brand shared.

Products part of the collection include:
- Acidic Bonding Curls Shampoo: A silicone-free shampoo that contains citric acid, glycine and an 8% bonding care complex, as well as avocado oil and shea butter, and vitamin B5 for gentle cleansing and removing build-up on the hair and scalp;
- Acidic Bonding Curls Conditioner: A silicone-free conditioner that includes citric acid, glycine and a 9% bonding care complex, as well as coconut oil and cationic surfactant to build bonds and repair curl strength, as well as help improve curl elasticity;
- Acidic Bonding Curls Leave-In: A silicone-free leave-in treatment formulated with citric acid, glycine and a 16% bonding care complex. Infused with avocado oil, camelina oil and cationic surfactant, it helps ease hair detangling, reduces frizz and aids in improving curls for a shiny and defined look;
- Acidic Bonding Curls Hydrating Curl Cream: A curl cream that helps define and hydrate curls. Made with curl-hydrating humectants, it contains squalene and jojoba oil to help hydrate and preserve the curl pattern, while also aiding in reducing frizz and protecting against heat;
- Acidic Bonding Curls Sculpting Gel: Made to sculpt and seal curls to protect them from frizz, it contains a 72-hour hold and is formulated with squalene and jojoba oil to hydrate and preserve the curl pattern with a non-crunch texture; and
- Acidic Bonding Curls Refreshing Curls Mist: A refreshing mist that can help reactivate up to 7th day curls without washing, it can help hair feel hydrated and define. Made with squalene and jojoba oil, it also helps restore curl pattern, bounce and neutral movement with frizz reduction.
