  • Fred’s adds two to its board of directors

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Fred’s Pharmacy on Monday appointed Steven B. Rossi, CEO of Digital First Media, and Timothy A. Barton, former CEO of Freightquote.com, which he founded in 1998, to its board of directors, effective immediately.

  • NACDS names Walgreens’ Gourlay as chairman

    The National Association of Chain Drug Stores on Monday elected new officers, one new executive committee member and two new board of directors members for the coming year, including Alex Gourlay, co-COO of Walgreens Boots Alliance and president of Walgreens, who will serve as the new chairman of the NACDS board of directors. Gourlay succeeds Martin Otto, chief merchant and CFO of H-E-B, who completed his term.

  • The Little Clinic head adds pharmacy president to role at Kroger

    CINCINNATI, Ohio — Kroger has expanded the role of The Little Clinic president Colleen Lindholz, naming her president of its pharmacy division Monday. Lindholz, who has led The Little Clinic since 2015, takes over pharmacy duties from Philecia Avery, who Kroger said resigned the company earlier this month to pursue other interests.
