  • CVS Health debuts new specialty pharmacy facility

    ORLANDO, Fla. - CVS Health this week was joined by Florida Gov. Rick Scott, the Orlando Economic Development Commission VP Business Development Casey Barnes, Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs and Florida State Reps. Mike Miller and Mike La Rosa to officially open a new specialty pharmacy facility here.

  • Target names new chief legal officer and general counsel

    MINNEAPOLIS -- Target has selected a Xerox veteran to serve as the retailer's next executive vice president, chief legal officer and general counsel.

    Don Liu will oversee all legal, corporate governance and government affairs matters for the company, efefctive Aug. 22. He will report to chairman and chief executive officer Brian Cornell and serve as a member of Target’s leadership team.

    ZAANDAM, The Netherlands and BRUSSELS, Belgium — As the Federal Trade Commission approaches a decision on their proposed merger, Delhaize Group and Ahold on Thursday announced that they would be divesting a combined total of 86 stores in areas where both their U.S. subsidiaries operate.

  • Roundy's CEO to retire after almost 50 years in the grocery business

    CINCINNATI - Kroger on Tuesday announced the retirement of Roundy's CEO Bob Mariano, effective Sept. 1, after which he will serve as strategic adviser to Kroger and Roundy's for two years.

    Operations will continue to run as they are, Kroger reported. Don Rosanova, president of Mariano's, and Michael Marx, president of Roundy's Supermarkets Wisconsin, will continue to serve in their current roles leading the two supermarket divisions.
