  • Independent Pharmacy Cooperative awards 8 scholarships

    SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Independent Pharmacy Cooperative on Tuesday announced the recipients of their 2017 student scholarshps. Eight pharmacy student winners were awarded a $1,500 scholarship, with matching funds from McKesson.

    "We must be proactive in supporting the next generation of independent pharmacists," stated Don Anderson, IPC president and CEO. "IPC is proud to encourage the career growth and development of these exceptional future pharmacists."

    MILL VALLEY, Calif. ­— Glassdoor ealier this week announced the winners of its annual Employees’ Choice Awards, honoring the Highest Rated CEOs in 2017 across North America and parts of Europe.

    The top retail CEO is Charles Butt, CEO of H-E-B, who comes in at No. 16 overall. Other notables from the retail pharmacy industry include George Barrett, CEO Cardinal Health at No. 77 and Craig Jelinak , CEO Costco, at No. 88.

  • ADA grants seal of acceptance to Crest’s 3D White Whitestrips

    CHICAGO — The American Dental  Association this week announced that Crest 3D White Glamorous White Whitestrips would be the only home-use tooth bleaching product to get the ADA Seal of Acceptance. The ADA said that the product is safe and effective in whitening natural teeth when used according to the manufacturer instructions.
